Building Stacklist
We're so excited, we just can't hide it.
TLDR;
1️⃣ Where to begin?
Ok. I’ll admit it. 🤦♂️ This email has been a long time coming.
Our team has been heads-down for the past 3 months since we launched focused on making Stacklist better, faster, stronger. 🏗️ We haven’t really been as vocal about all the amazing things going on behind-the-scenes as we should be.
So here’s us, emerging from the Product Development bunker, and it’s time to party. 🎉
We're start with this newsletter called Building Stacklist this newsletter as well as a new podcast documenting of the same name. 📃 + 🎙️
We’re going to be open, transparent, and document in public the wins, the struggles, and the journey of building what we see as the first, best, and only Social Curation Platform.
If you’re so-so about riding along this journey with us, I’ll surface the unsubscribe link here. I won’t even do the crazy tricks and hacks companies do to hide it and make it difficult to unsubscribe. I’ll even make it bright pink to stand out.
BUT! (Yes there’s a but…)
If you’re curious about where we’re headed, who we are, why we’re doing this, and how the h-e-double-hockey-sticks we’re going to pull off such a crazy moon shot…🚀 🌕
Stick along for the ride. 🎢
We’ll try our very-absolute-best to make sure its interesting, entertaining, funny (we know jokes), and worth it. 🤩
Ok, let’s dig into the good stuff. Thanks for reading. 🙏
(and for not hitting the pink button if you’re sticking with us.)
📱 New Mobile App
We launched the iPhone app on Sept 3rd of this year. Android October 8th.
(Holy crap. Just realized that was only 22 days ago.)
But was the Stacklist ready to sit back and rest on their laurels? No, no we were not.
Just before Android launched, we brought in a ringer. And by ringer I mean a BA designer who was going to takes us to a new level. Enter Juan. 👋
Martina, myself, Bonnie, Juan, and Lazar (Mobile Wizard 🧙♂️ or Mage) all put our heads down and started cranking on a new, better, more improved mobile experience. 💡
As of tomorrow… (fingers crossed) we’ll launch the Stacklist app v2.0. 🤩
It’s pretty. And it sets us up for a great foundation to build from. 🚀
AND.. you can share anything from your phone using the share function from your phone to send any link to Stacklist to be saved. With notes. VERY QUICKLY. 💨
Here’s our little hype video to get us all pumped up. 📺
OH.. and if you don’t have the mobile app downloaded yet, you can get it here. 📱
🖥️ Safari Extension Update
Chrome. Firefox. Edge.
All of these Stacklist extensions are up, out, and in the wild. And they’re great.
But, we’re missing one. An important one. ☝️
Not because we don’t love Safari, on the contrary, we do. But Safari extensions are.. different. So it took a minute. ⌚️
By Monday of next week, we’ll have pushed the new Stacklist Safari Extensions. It’s nice. Its got that Mac / Safari buttery smooth feeling to it.
And as always, we’d LOVE your feedback if you install and use it. You can always go to the Stacklist Feedback site to give us your thoughts, bugs, and ideas.

🤔 Zero to Umm
Ok, if you didn’t know, Kyle runs a podcast called Zero to Umm… 🤔 where he interviews founders about the early days of building their startup.
Rather than talk about where they are now and where their headed, we go back to the early days of building their company.
The first idea 💡 the first inkling there is something here that needs to be explored. 🗺️
We talk through the early trials, pivots, and strategies that it took to get their companies to where they are today.
Previous guests include:
Episode 4: Birute Efe - Founder of beCreative 🎨
Episode 2: Mike Preuss - Founder and CEO of Visible.vc 👀
Dani Grant on Finding Product Market Fit
👷 Building Stacklist 👷♀️
Also! Theres more! (More you say!)
We’ll be discussing the highs, the lows, and the hard and confusing parts of building something from idea into… something.
We’ll be interviewing Stacklist team members, customers, partners, advisors, and subject-matter experts as we navigate our way through bringing stacklist into the world.
We have our first two episodes in the bag. (In the can?) The first two are done. We just need to find time to get them up and out. ⏳
